Affordable LMS
Most LMS platforms charge you for seats. We charge for invited users
uQualio charges per active learner, per month. An expired invitation costs nothing. Most platforms don’t work that way.

Why Video-Based Learning?
Per-seat pricing was designed for software teams, not training audiences
Enterprise LMS platforms were built for large IT rollouts where every employee uses the tool every day. Per-seat pricing made sense in that context: 200 seats, 200 daily users, predictable cost.
Training audiences don’t work like that.
A partner network of 300 dealers doesn’t train every month. A customer base of 800 active accounts might have 150 completing onboarding content in any given month. A seasonal workforce has 40 people in January and 400 in August.
Per-seat LMS pricing forces you to make a choice: pay for everyone all year, or constantly resize your licence — with the admin overhead that comes with it.
uQualio was built for audiences that fluctuate. You enrol everyone who might ever need training. You pay only for those who actually log in that month.

How active-user pricing works
Simple math. You pay for who’s actively training right now.
01
You invite a user
When you send a course invitation, that person becomes an active user.
You pay $2/month while their invitation is live.
02
They complete a course
The learner watches, passes the quiz, and downloads their certificate.
Job done.
03
The invitation expires
Once expired or revoked, they drop off your active count.
You stop paying for that seat.
04
Public learners are free
Anyone accessing your course via a public link or QR code is anonymous.
Public learners are never counted and cost nothing.
05
Admins are always free
Unlimited admins on all paid plans.
The people managing your platform don’t add to your bill.

How active-user pricing works
The per-seat pricing trap
Most LMS platforms sell seats. You buy 200. Your partners train in waves of 30. For the nine months between training cycles, you’re paying for 170 people who aren’t learning anything.
That’s not a software cost. It’s a tax on how your audience actually behaves: Seasonal, spiky, and high-turnover.
Partner networks don’t train continuously. Customer onboarding runs in batches. Compliance training happens once a year. The platforms built for internal employees don’t account for any of this.
Pricing & value
What's included at every plan level
You prepay monthly for a user tier. If you go over your tier in a given month, additional active users are charged at the extra user rate and does not require an upgrade of your subscription’.
. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at the end of any billing period.
Everything you need to build, publish, and track — from day one.
Every uQualio plan includes unlimited courses, unlimited topics, and unlimited content storage. There’s no per-course fee and no cap on how many courses you build. You pay for the learners who take them, not the content you create.

How it compares
How uQualio compares on cost
An honest comparison. Other platforms lead on enterprise SSO and deep CRM integrations. If that’s what you need, they’re the right choice. If you need training live in days at a price that scales with actual usage, this is what matters.
30–45% lower training costs. That’s what Fremco – a fiber-blowing machine manufacturer training 70+ sales partners worldwide – achieved after switching to uQualio. Kenneth Filipsen, Technical Sales Manager: “It’s like having 10 extra employees doing training.” Read the full story

Common questions about uQualio's Affordable LMS
- What does "active user" mean?An active user is someone with a live, private course invitation right now. When their invitation expires or is revoked, they’re no longer counted. Public and anonymous learners are never counted as active users.
- Do public learners cost anything? No. Anyone accessing a course via a public link or QR code is anonymous and free. You only pay for users who have received private invitations.
- Is there a setup fee?No. There’s no onboarding fee, no implementation project, and no professional services charge. A complimentary startup meeting is included from day one of your trial.
- Do I have to sign an annual contract? No. Plans run month to month. You can upgrade at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Save 10% if you choose quarterly billing.
- What's the cheapest plan? The Basic plan is $19.99/month and supports up to 10 active users with unlimited courses, admins, and storage. Additional active users are $5/month each.
- Does uQualio offer NGO or startup discounts?Yes. NGOs and nonprofits receive 80% off all plans for non-commercial use. Startups receive up to 50% off during their first year. Both require brief eligibility verification — contact the team to get started.
- How does uQualio compare to free LMS options?Free tools like Moodle require self-hosting, IT maintenance, and manual translation. uQualio is fully hosted, updated automatically, and includes AI transcription, translation, and quiz generation. The real cost of a free LMS includes the IT time and admin overhead that aren’t on the price tag.
- Are admins counted as active users? No. Admin accounts are unlimited and free on all paid plans. Only learners with live private course invitations count toward your active user total.
- What is active-user pricing for an LMS?
Active-user pricing means you pay based on the number of users who have been privately invited to access content on your platform, not on your total registered user base or the number of courses you have.
In uQualio, a privately invited user is someone who has received a personal invitation to a protected course or channel. Public learners are anyone accessing training via an open link without a private invitation, and are always free on every plan. If you invite 100 users but only 60 actually use the platform in a given month, you are still charged for all 100 privately invited users (since the charge is per invitation, not per login). You prepay for a user tier and pay $5/month for each additional user above your plan limit.
- How does uQualio compare to Moodle or TalentLMS?
Moodle is open-source and free to download, but requires self-hosting, technical setup, and ongoing maintenance. The software is free, the total cost of ownership is not.
TalentLMS charges per active user per month at rates typically starting above $50/month for small teams and scaling to hundreds per month for larger ones.
uQualio starts at $19.99/month with no setup fee, no IT project, and a free setup meeting included. The key practical differences: uQualio is built specifically for video micro-learning (Moodle and TalentLMS support documents and SCORM packages as their primary format), uQualio includes AI transcription, quiz generation, and translation as add-ons rather than requiring a separate authoring tool, and uQualio’s public-learner model means external audiences like customers, partners, and dealers can also access training.
