Interview with Rikke Uldal, Managing Partner at HRperformance.
HRperformance is a consulting company, which helps strengthen customers’ performance through business-driven HR. They are passionate about delivering ROI through value-creating strategy, development, and processes starting from management.
In collaboration with the pharmacy chain A-apoteket, HRperformance developed and facilitated a large well-being project, which included distance management courses for 30 pharmacy managers, and eLearning courses for around 390 pharmacists and pharmaconomists. The modules aimed to equip the 390 employees with tools to self-motivate in the smaller departments when the manager is at a distance in the main office.
For the eLearning course, A-apoteket and HRperformance choose to use the uQualio video eLearning platform.
The Challenge
A-apoteket is looking to strengthen their staff members in distance management and self-management, due to new market conditions for pharmacies in Denmark. The new market conditions meant that pharmacists could own up to 8 pharmacy units. This entails new managerial challenges, as much management now takes place from a distance – from the main pharmacy to the pharmacy units.
A-apoteket received funding from the Velliv Foundation, and then contacted HRperformance to create a program incl. course that could be used by their staff in the pharmacies, during operational hours.
The pharmacy chain wants to have one of the best online training software solutions based on easy video content to create a course that could be distributed to a large group of people and that could handle complex learning material in a way that made it easy to acquire new knowledge. The course should also be accessible via mobile and/or tablet devices, as the employees do not have access to a computer at the pharmacy. The idea is that they could use time on the self-management and remote team management training courses when there are no customers in the pharmacy.
The Solution
The uQualio video cloud-based training platform makes it possible for A-apoteket and HRperformance to create the course, so that it could be adapted to the users, while allowing them to make the necessary changes themselves. uQualio helps them track the participants’ progress and can email them if necessary to ensure that they complete the course.
The employee training platform offers flexibility and ease of use to both the course developers and course users, and the changes executed get immediately updated across the platform to all participants.
The Result
To A-apoteket, the uQualio online training courses platform has offered a cost-effective way for sending out their course to each of the employees individually. This is done by sending each participant a personal link to their mobile phone, from which they can access the self-management training and remote team management training course directly on the uQualio platform.
The project was developed in close collaboration between the consultancy firm HRperformance & the pharmacy chain A-apoteket, supported by the VELLIV association.
