December 2025 Product News Webinar Highlights

As we finish off 2025, we eke out a few more tidbits to keep your video LMS platform rolling. Here’s our monthly round-up of our product news and development updates.

What is the Product News Webinar? 

This typically 30-minute monthly webinar brings you the most recent developments on our platform. We show and demonstrate new features, fixes, and important news related to how you work with uQualio. We explain how they may help you as the admin / course developer, or may help your employees, customers or partners as learners. Our top technical team is here for you, headed by Christian Bjerre Nielsen (co-Founder and CPO).  

How Do I Attend the Webinars? 

These webinars are a special edition of our weekly Office Hours – the new feature that rolled out on October 28, 2025. For the webinar, we email invites to our users for the third Tuesday of the month at 3 pm (CET) – that’s 9 am EST.  

We give you the highlights of our new features in case there is something you are especially interested in. You can send questions in advance, or ask during the live webinar. 

If you cannot attend, no worries. We record the webinar and post it on our site where all our Product News recordings reside. Then we send you links to the recorded webinar, reviewing the highlights.  

So What Happened in December’s Webinar? 

This month we got to respond to customer wishes (we LOVE doing this) and give audio files some respect. Topic covered reflect our ongoing development plans. These included: 

1 – Updated Course Terminology: Responding to Customer Feedback 

We listened to our users when they wanted consistency and clarity in course terminology. As a course processes from creation through to assignment to users, we agreed the wording was unruly. 

CURRENT:  Draft > Course > Channel > Published Course > Course Page for Course Group 

WILL BE: Draft > Content > Channel > Course > Cohort (one or more) 

This terminology change will be completed by year-end. Review the webinar recording below if you wish to see it on the platform itself.  

2 – Directory Cover Page: Visual and Text Changes Easier 

Your uQualio Directory provides a high-level view of ALL content. It allows your Admin to decide what to show on Channels and Courses. We have made it simpler to change text and appearance of the Cover Page, or even hide the cover if you wish.  

We added color elements for the Directory, and soon we will add meta description assistance, which content to expose across those channels/courses. Watch the seminar recording (below) if you’d like to see this in action.  

3 – Audio Files as Topics: Allowing Audio Files to Display More Like Videos 

We responded to another customer inquiry when audio files could not be loaded as a Topic. This has been rectified, and you can upload the most popular formats (MP3, WAV and OGG) into your course.  

But we decided to make your audio files more useful at the same time. Your audio files can be transcribed, made into subtitles, and work with other AI features in your subscription. When combined with Dynamic AI Translation, your audio files increase accessibility to users in other languages.  

4 – Special Update from Our Office Hours Webinar Last Week: More Features on Certificates 

Sometimes your users may need access to their course certificates (to show any certification details for what they passed, expiry, etc.). We demonstrated how Admins can pull the records, or even how to show the User how to access. Christian also reviewed how to add more detail or fields to the certificates, perhaps assisting with compliance. Even better, he reminded all that a User still has access to training records without having to be an Active User. This means your past course users who are not active still have certification access but don’t add to cost.
