Background
Interview with Ramo Lordeni, Chief Executive Officer at CBREE, who holds a PhD in Adult Education with a focus on instructional design, adult learner needs and characteristics, adult learning theories, critical thinking, and workplace learning.
Community-Based Research for Engagement and Education (CBREE) is a nonprofit organization that conducts collaborative, field-initiated research on adult and community learning and literacy informed by social, economic, political, human resource, and socio-environmental issues. The nonprofit seeks to identify plausible findings to guide adult and community education and literacy programs, leading to increased equity regarding family and community health, and vibrancy.
The Challenge
The nonprofit CBREE needed an affordable option for video-based education course design and distribution. They wanted a user-friendly platform to educate adults on topics to increase their social abilities. This included teaching parents about media literacy – so that they guide their children in the responsible, ethical, and safe use of the Internet – as well as teaching people what the rules of house renting are and what to be aware of when signing a lease on a house.
The Solution
uQualio helped CBREE reach their target groups efficiently and effectively as all learnings could be viewed (and reviewed) on people’s devices as and when needed.
The Result
With uQualio, the nonprofit discovered new ways of doing things. They found the platform amazingly user-friendly without even realizing that it is tech driven.
What CBREE Thinks About uQualio?
According to CBREE’s Chief Executive Officer Ramo Lordeni, Ph.D., uQualio is a fantastic way to get one’s product and ideas out there. They find it great for marketing, wonderfully simple to use, efficient, and very good for education. Here is what Ramo says:
