DigiRehab is a unique digital exercise tool aimed at older citizens who require homecare assistance. The intelligent and personalized exercise programs increase the citizens’ self-reliance and reduce their need for homecare.
To train both the municipalities’ social and health care assistants, and seniors, DigiRehab uses uQualio.
The Challenge
The customers of DigiRehab are the municipalities’ homecare departments. DigiRehab helps them with training programs for the caretakers to assist senior adults with their app for training.
The social and health care assistants need to know why elderly adults need to train at home, and how to use the app to support them. Sadly, they often lack IT skills and work under strict timelines. That’s why DigiRehab started looking for an efficient way of teaching them those skills fast, so that they could solely focus on providing care and other important tasks.
DigiRehab wanted a solution where the courses can easily be distributed to different customers on their own channels, and the courses can be personalized to match the customers’ needs. They also wanted a European-based training solutions provider to ensure complete GDPR compliance.
The Solution
DigiRehab’s chairman Martin Sattrup Christensen heard about uQualio’s end user training platform and decided to try it out. He found that it was NOT like the usual “HR-monster” eLearning tool. It is really operational, simple, and results-oriented.
For DigiRehab, uQualio has made the entire training process – from delivering courses to reaching end-users – extremely seamless. It serves as a strong platform for DigiRehab’s customers to educate their employees in the field of healthcare.
With the uQualio video eLearning platform, it is no longer necessary to visit all municipalities for training. The video-based training platform makes it easy and efficient to take courses, since people can take the courses (and even revisit them) as per their convenience. Moreover, when new employees join, they too can simply take the course and revisit them as and when needed.
The Result
Currently, DigiRehab has a specific Channel on uQualio for each municipal district, where courses can be distributed easily, which is helpful for the practitioners. uQualio helps DigiRehab put things into a simple system, which works even in a complicated industry like healthcare, where you need to know the laws or requirements for each district. DigiRehab’s subsidiary in Germany is also using uQualio for end-user training of older citizens so they can get a discount on their health insurance. It is important for the company to use the same service across borders.
