What is the Product News Webinar?
This 30-minute monthly webinar brings you the most recent developments on our platform. We explain and demonstrate new features, fixes, and important news related to how you work with uQualio. We explain how they may help you as the admin / course developer, or may help your employees, customers or partners as learners. Our top technical team is here for you, headed by Christian Bjerre Nielsen (co-Founder and CPO).
How Do I Attend the Webinars?
These webinars are a special edition of our weekly Office Hours series of platform Q&A with our customers. For the webinar, we email invites to our users for the third Tuesday of the month at 3 pm (CET) – that’s 9 am EST. If you prefer to attend the Office Hours webinars to get questions answered live on the platform, you MUST sign up first. The weekly webinars will only be held if someone has signed up. When you send in your question or other platform issue, we can then show you directly on the platform.
We give you the highlights of our new features in case there is something you are especially interested in. You can send questions in advance, or if you have a new question during a live webinar you may ask then.
If you cannot attend, no worries. We record the webinar and post it on our site where all our Product News recordings reside. Then we send you links to the recorded webinar, reviewing the highlights.
Well, What Happened in February’s Webinar?
This month focused on adding features for Admins and their users. The topics really ran the gamut, including:
1 – AI Help Agent – Bringing Your Videos to Life
This one we’re really excited about – the addition of an AI Help Agent to help your users find information. All based on information we feed to a Large Language Model (LLM) only from our own data.
By restricting the information the model gets, all information the agent pulls from creates:
- A written overview answering the user’s question, like “How do I use a Vimeo video to create a course?”
- Links to the actual course video that also answer the question.
This all points to less hunting by learners (or Admins) for the answers they truly need. Retention of information is improved, and no fake answers are provided by other sources.
Text or speech can be used for questions and answers. Currently this feature will be experimental for uQualio only and live in the tutorial channel only. Wider release will open up later this year. Contact uQualio support if you want to try this on your own video training platform.
2– Edit Images – Transform Images for Versatility
Sometimes we add niceties to the interface – in this case for editing your images. Whether you use images from the uQualio Library or add your own – you’re set! Don’t forget you can easily connect to your company website to repurpose images to match your branding.
In the webinar video at end, you’ll see how you can transform your images to crop, flip, etc. right inside our platform.
3 – Planday Integration – Planday Users Can Get More HR Info Connected with uQualio
Yet another fine integration partner is being set up on the uQualio platform – Planday! Planday is an employee-centric platform for creating schedules, managing teams, and building great businesses.
You will be able to sync your Planday users – with Planday as the ‘System of Record’. We describe the integration steps in the video for this segment at the link for this webinar near the end. When all testing and partnership steps are completed, we will update all with a new blog post and integration overview for Planday on our site.
4 – Directory Cover – Create, Preview and Edit Features Better Configured for Ease
We make updates to the platform interface periodically at request or if we notice something more convenient for users. You can now have access to all directory cover-related areas like image or colors in one spot. Preview the cover and edit right there.
5 – Magic Links for REST APIs – Less Annoying Logins that You Control
The magic part of magic links is not having to get and remember passwords. This is especially true for something you may only need to sign into a few times, or just once.
You have the power to if you’d like to set Account, Channel or Course Access as a magic link. Then to set the length of time the link is good for. The feature is initially made for the uQualio REST API. It will be extended into regular user access later this year.
