MOBIpreneur Gives Entrepreneurs a Digital Leg Up

MobiPreneur gives EU Entrepreneurs a Digital Leg Up

Building a business is exciting, rewarding, and often overwhelming at the same time. Entrepreneurs across Europe face constant pressure to find customers, secure funding, build products, manage operations, and develop new skills. All while moving quickly in highly competitive markets.

Traditional education and business support programs often struggle to keep pace with the realities of entrepreneurship. Long workshops, static PDFs, and inflexible classroom formats rarely fit into the daily life of a founder or startup team.

That is where Mobile Learning on WhatsApp is changing the game.

MOBIpreneur is an initiative supported by the EU and designed to support entrepreneurs through practical, accessible, and community-driven learning experiences. By combining mentoring, peer learning, and video-based mobile learning, the MOBI program helps entrepreneurs develop real-world skills flexibly and engagingly.

This practical learning approach aligned with the consortium’s use of existing digital learning tools, including the uQualio platform, for hosting and delivering content. Read the MOBIpreneure Testimonial for more info.

Making Mobile Learning Work for Entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs learn differently from traditional students.

Most founders and startup teams do not have the luxury of setting aside entire days for training. Learning needs to happen at a pace that fits daily operations, like on the go between meetings, during travel, or while solving real business challenges.

This is what they ask for instead, as Involved.io showed at the initial MOBIpreneur event in March 2024.

Here is more MOBIpreneur research results of what entrepreneurs need.

This is why mobile learning has become such an important tool for entrepreneurship education. Instead of long-form courses or theoretical classroom sessions, MOBIpreneur uses:

  • Short learning modules
  • Video-based instruction
  • Flexible self-paced content
  • Practical business cases
  • Interactive learning experiences

The result is learning that feels relevant, manageable, and immediately applicable.

Entrepreneurs can access content anytime, anywhere. Whether from a laptop, tablet, or mobile phone, making learning part of the workflow rather than an interruption to it.

Why Video Learning is Especially Effective for Entrepreneurs

Research consistently shows that video learning improves engagement and knowledge retention compared to text-heavy formats alone.

For entrepreneurs, video-based mobile learning offers several advantages:

  • Faster understanding of complex topics
  • More engaging delivery
  • Better flexibility
  • Easier repetition and review
  • Stronger emotional connection through storytelling and examples

Entrepreneurs are often problem-solvers by nature. They prefer learning that is visual, actionable, and directly connected to real-life situations. Short-form video learning supports this naturally.

Instead of reading long manuals or sitting through lengthy presentations, entrepreneurs can quickly absorb key concepts and apply them immediately to customer meetings, sales processes, marketing activities, or operational decisions.

This practical learning approach is one of the reasons MOBIpreneur selected uQualio as part of its digital learning strategy.

More Than eLearning: The Power of Mentoring and Peer Learning

One of the most important aspects of MOBIpreneur is that the program goes beyond digital learning content. While mobile learning provides flexibility and accessibility, entrepreneurship also requires feedback, discussions, collaborations, and real-world perspectives. Which is why mentoring and peer learning are central elements of the MOBIpreneur experience.

Participants are not simply consuming educational content. They are actively engaging with other entrepreneurs, sharing challenges, discussing solutions, and learning from each other’s experiences. This creates a stronger sense of community and practical support—something many entrepreneurs are looking for.

Introducing HOT🔥SEAT: Collaborative Entrepreneurial Problem-Solving

The ongoing mentoring program has already inspired a new event format called HOT🔥SEAT

The concept takes group mentoring one step further by focusing on collaborative problem-solving in a structured and practical way.

The next HOT🔥SEAT event takes place at Zoku in Copenhagen on June 16 and focuses on one of the biggest entrepreneurial challenges: Finding Customers

During the event 3 entrepreneurs each receive five minutes to present:

  • What they do
  • The challenge they are currently facing
  • What they have already tried

The room then participates in a facilitated 25-minute discussion for each entrepreneur, contributing:

  • Ideas
  • Reflections
  • Strategic advice
  • Practical suggestions
  • Personal experiences

The purpose is to create:

  • Peer learning
  • Actionable problem-solving
  • Stronger entrepreneur networks
  • Shared learning experiences

This format reflects a larger trend in modern education: Learning is becoming increasingly social, interactive, and community-driven.

Entrepreneurs often learn best from people facing similar challenges, and HOT🔥SEAT creates an environment where practical insights can emerge quickly.

The Future of Mobile Learning in Entrepreneurship

MOBIpreneur is now entering its next phase of development.

One important upcoming initiative is the creation of a Trainer’s Guide, which will support the implementation of the MOBIpreneur learning framework in additional educational and entrepreneurial programs. Activities connected to this next phase are planned for August 2026

The goal is to make the model scalable and adaptable across different countries, educational environments, and entrepreneurship ecosystems. Reflecting an important shift happening in learning and development:

  • Learning is becoming more modular
  • Mobile learning is becoming mainstream
  • Mentoring is becoming increasingly integrated into digital education
  • Communities are becoming part of the learning experience itself

Programs like MOBIpreneur show that entrepreneurship education no longer needs to be limited to classrooms or expensive accelerator programs. Digital learning platforms now make it possible to deliver flexible, scalable support to entrepreneurs wherever they are.
