This month marked the first movement of our Product News Webinars to become, “Office Hours: Product News Edition.” It’s the same great monthly round-up of product news and development updates, monthly on the third Tuesday.

What is the Product News Webinar?
This has evolved into a monthly webinar of typically 30 minutes. We show you the most recent developments on our platform and demonstrate how they work. We explain how they may help you (admin/course developer), or your employees, customers or partners as learners. You have access to our top technical team, headed by Christian Bjerre Nielsen (Co-founder and CPO).
How Do I Attend the Webinars?
These are a special edition of our weekly Office Hours – the new feature that rolled out on October 28, 2025. For the webinar, we email invites to our users for the third Tuesday of the month at 3 pm (CET) – that’s 9 am EST.
We give you the highlights of our new features in case there is something you are especially interested in. You can even send questions in advance, or you may ask questions during the live webinar.
If you cannot attend, no worries. We record the webinar and post it on our site, where all our Product News recordings reside. Then we send you links to the recorded webinar, reviewing the highlights.
So What Happened in November’s Webinar?
Some months are more flashy (like when we introduced the Dynamic AI Translation feature). They spawn special blog posts that focus on a singular update. While November 2025 was more “behind the scenes,” our development team was still busy making improvements. These included:
- Certificates and Content Description: Certificates for successfully completing courses have been updated to add more details to the certificate itself. Below the certificate, there is consistent terminology for describing the overall course (Learning Overview). Primary reasons for the training/course (Key Objectives) and tags to summarize skillsets utilized (Key Competencies) round out the content description. Customizing the certificate and description helps focus on the main objectives and ensures learners retain the most important knowledge.
- Change from reCAPTCHA to Turnstile: Protection from bots is important to website and platform security. We are changing from using the reCAPTCHA option to Cloudflare’s Turnstile option. The focus on improved accessibility for users and the importance of protecting privacy and security were factors in this decision. Read more about us joining Cloudflare’s Start-up Program from earlier this year.
- Application Server Changes: We have moved our application servers from Azure to AWS. By updating the infrastructure, the primary benefit will be an improved user experience.
- REST API Enhancement: A course user can see what percentage of the course is completed, and if they received certification. This will help ensure users finish required courses. Admins can now report on and check all their course user stats for better compliance.
- Development Roadmap Update: We announced that our next update to the Development Roadmap is coming shortly. We primarily update it 2-4 times a year and will make a blog post to show our latest status. Meanwhile, check out our last development roadmap status from August 2025.
