What is the Product News Webinar?
This has evolved into a monthly webinar of typically 30 minutes. We show you the most recent developments in our platform and demonstrate how they work. We explain how they may help you as the admin/course developer, or may help your employees, customers, or partners as learners. You have access to our top technical team, headed by Christian Bjerre Nielsen (Co-Founder and CPO).
How Do I Attend the Webinars?
These webinars are a special edition of our weekly Office Hours – a new feature officially rolling out on October 28. For the webinar, we email invites to our users for the third Tuesday of the month at 3 pm (CET) – that’s 9 am EST.
We give you the highlights of our new features in case there is something you are especially interested in. You can even send questions in advance, or you may ask questions during the live webinar.
If you cannot attend, no worries. We record the webinar and post it on our site, where all our Product News recordings reside. Then we email you from HubSpot and send you links to the recorded webinar, reviewing the highlights.
So What Happened in October 2025’s Product News Webinar?
Ah, yes, we reviewed a few new items in October 2025. These included:
- Course Ratings: Users who take your course can now give a rating of one to five stars, and an overall star average (including how many rated the course) can appear by the course if you wish. Written reviews and comments can also be submitted and shown in an internal report, so you can see what your users have to say. This is a great way to improve your course without any published feedback (you may have reviews published in a future development stage).
- User Feedback: Related to the ability for users to submit comments for review, your public users (the users you are not charged for as active users) can now also contribute. See how they can register to comment – which provides valuable feedback while also preventing SPAM and bots from commenting on your courses.
- Directory Page – New Layout: Very simply, you can now format your directory page to show an image, add a description about your directory, and more.
- Pending Invite Pop-up: The course page now shows a handy pop-up. You can see at a glance that there are unopened invites to courses, and see who has opened but still hasn’t taken the course. Then you can send reminders to get those courses taken.
