The company maintains six production plants with close to 97,000 square feet of space.
Pace Processing started using uQualio for HSC & technical training in 2020 and has been increasingly using uQualio over time.
“uQualio is fun and easy to use. Great support with excellent feedback time. This video microlearning LMS platform is almost intuitive and has many useful features and integrations.”
Interview with Paul Dostal, Occupational Safety Coordinator at Pace Processing.
The company’s old technical training system was expensive and not very user-friendly, making it hard to get people to engage in their training. Their staff even felt that the traditional training was a waste of time. To overcome this issue, Pace Processing started looking for a better option.
Pace Processing uses the uQualio video training platform as a continuous educational platform for training staff online. Since the company has a lot of complicated machines, requiring special knowledge to operate and maintain, it makes in-house ‘how to’ videos and creates courses using uQualio. The Courses are added with a QR code on the individual product equipment to enable staff to find the relevant courses about the set-up, maintenance, safety, and cleaning of the manufacturing machine. So, the company uses the video creation and distribution platform to distribute courses with QR codes for easy reference, making courses available 24/7 as just-in-time training while monitoring staff compliance and compiling data.
The closed captions feature helps the company effectively train staff members who have hearing issues or speak other languages.
Another big plus for the company is that as the standard operating procedures (SOPs) are shown as video and with additional documents added to the course, they can document compliance to the authorities.
The uQualio video eLearning platform is a game changer for the company. Their staff started using uQualio in 2022 for video-based technical training, and since then they have been talking about the new things they learned.
According to Paul, uQualio has the best mix of built-in features, ease of use, and price. Paul says that uQualio is fun and easy to use, and it offers great support with excellent feedback time. He finds the technical training platform very intuitive and likes its many useful features and integrations like Stripe for eCommerce and AI-text-to-video-avatar integrations so you can create AI-rendered videos for your courses.
Here is what Paul says:
“We are a bakery that makes pizza, breadsticks, cupcakes, cakes, and burritos for customers across the U.S. We also have several partners that make yummy gluten- and dairy-free products.”
“Our old training system was expensive and not very user-friendly, so we decided to explore other options when the contract expired. Actually, we looked at several platforms before deciding that the uQualio platform had the best mix of built-in features, ease of use, and price.”
“We use it as a continuous educational platform that leads our online staff training. We have a lot of complicated machines that require special knowledge to operate and maintain. We make in-house ‘how to’ videos and create courses for the set-up, maintenance, and cleaning of our machines, and use the platform to distribute courses, monitor staff compliance, and compile data.”
“In the past, it was hard to get people to engage with their training. The staff felt it (their training) was a waste of time. Since we began using video eLearning with uQualio, our staff talk about the new things they have learned. A true game changer for us.”
“The close captions feature has helped us communicate effectively with staff who may have hearing deficits or speak other languages. Another big plus is being able to access standard operating procedures – both video and printable manuals, and QR codes for easy reference, 24/7.”
“The uQualio video eLearning platform is fun and easy to use. Great support with excellent feedback time. The site is almost intuitive and has many useful features and integrations with programs that allows you to create AI-rendered videos.”
