Key benefits:
“uQualio is like Udemy, but for private use within your own company. It has been really easy to set up incl. adding small videos and quizzes. Definitely saving time and just one less thing to worry about, which is very important when you’re a founder. So, if you have to repeat something more than twice, you should make a video.”
Interview with Bodil Biering, Founder and CEO of Cyberjuice.
Based in Copenhagen, Demark, Cyberjuice is an automated & inclusive cybersecurity management platform for startups and small companies. The platform automates most of your cybersecurity work for ISO 27001 certification and guides customers through the process in an engaging step-by-step way.
The company is on a mission to make cybersecurity accessible, uncomplicated and relevant, enabling its customers to take charge in a way that puts them above their competition. The platform bridges the gaps in cybersecurity by being the most user-friendly and cost-effective cybersecurity management platform for SMEs.
Cyberjuice uses uQualio for customer education.
Cyberjuice wanted to have their cybersecurity and compliance awareness modules connected to their own platform. The company was looking for an affordable solution to make cybersecurity awareness training for their customers.
Cyberjuice now uses uQualio in conjunction with their own platform and offers the whole cybersecurity and compliance program as a training module, as part of their package to their customers.
With uQualio, Cyberjuice can now offer everything that one needs to get audit-ready for an ISO 27001 certification, without actually having to develop one’s own video training modules. uQualio has also helped the company save a lot of time.
Cyberjuice is also looking at the prospect of API integration to make customer training faster, easier and smoother. This will save their customers a lot of time in training while allowing the company to look after all their needs. It will also enable Cyberjuice to utilize third parties for creating content, which can then be added to uQualio and offered within the Cyberjuice platform.
The company has received positive feedback from their customers, depicting training improvements with uQualio. Cyberjuice is also planning to use uQualio for their own internal purposes, such as creating quick “how to” guides and making onboarding a little more interactive.
Bodil is hugely impressed by uQualio’s Customer Support. She particularly likes that people can use their own brand colors in uQualio, so it appears as their own page. She also likes the different levels of certificates and badges, such as Gold, Platinum, etc.
She thinks that it is really easy to upload and set up the whole course on uQualio by adding small (microlearning) videos and quizzes. The ability to share a public link to the course is another uQualio feature, which she finds amazing.
Bodil is extremely optimistic about using the uQualio’s API integration feature for growing their company’s awareness programs inside their platform and to scale their customer training as a whole.
“We needed to quickly implement cybersecurity awareness training as part of our offering (Cyberjuice helps companies become compliant with the ISO 27001 standard), and we didn’t want to develop a full video module inside our own platform. So, uQualio was a great choice to create a video course with quizzes and everything and offer that to our customers.”
“I discovered it because I met the founders, and they told me about how easy it would be to create courses and, especially, to get the quizzes and the records so you can see who has passed the course.”
“It’s been really easy to upload everything, and to set up the whole course, adding small videos and quizzes. One thing I really liked was that you can share a public link to a course, so people don’t necessarily have to log in to see the course. Only if they want a certificate with their name, do they have to provide it. But it was very nice that you don’t have to create an additional login. I also know that there’s an API option so that we can actually integrate it when you’re logged into the Cyberjuice platform, allowing you to automatically retrieve records. We’re looking into that as a next step.”
“Well, we wanted to have our awareness module connected to our own solution. To be honest, we didn’t research what other options there is. But when I heard how easy it was to actually just get started in this way and do an MVP version of a course to see how it works, and it was also quite an affordable solution, we just said: let’s try it.”
“So we use it for offering cybersecurity awareness training for our customers. In conjunction with using our own platform to handle the whole security and compliance program, there’s always the requirement that you have to train all employees. So, we offer this as a training module as part of our package to our customers, and that’s how we use it now. But I’m also thinking about using it for our own internal operations for onboarding and, just quick how-to guides. So that’s another use case that I think we’ll be using it for.”
“Well, we’ve been able to offer everything you need to get audit-ready for an ISO certification without actually having to develop our own video training platform. So, does that answer the question of what results we got?”
“Definitely saving time and just one less thing to worry about, which is very important when you’re a founder.”
“The customer support.”
“I really like that you can get your brand colors in, so it looks like your own page, and it even has the URL with Cyber Juice in it. I also really like the different levels where you can get trophies like platinum and gold. I actually like that a lot.”
“So, we have not really measured that part, but I did get feedback that our training course was better than what they had seen in many big corporations, where you get some weird cartoon figure thing.”
“Did you receive any other kind of feedback about training through video learning?”
“Well, I think we will create an API integration, as we’re going to be able to integrate it directly into the platform. Right now, it’s like an offering that as a bonus is given to our customers. You can use this module for your training requirements instead of creating your own. But when we get the API integration set up, we can retrieve records and make that part of the compliance documentation. So, we can save our customers a ton of time and we can add other training courses as well to look after all their needs. Or even get third parties to create content for us, add it in uQualio, and offer that inside our own platform. So, I see that integration opportunity as a big place for growing our awareness programs inside the platform.
We have our own unique concept with something called habit surveys, which we’re going to keep as our own. And there’s going to be a lot of AI around that. But the education part where you just want to tell people a story and you want to do it on video and check that they were paying attention, like basic knowledge education, that part I see we can use uQualio to scale.
For internal operations, we can also make onboarding a little bit more interactive. Instead of just having a checklist, we can make some videos for the stuff that we explain every time. So just say to the customers: go and watch it here and check your own learning.”
“I would say it’s like Udemy, but for private use within your own company. ”
“Well, because Udemy is more of a general platform where you sell courses to everyone all over the world. uQualio, on the other hand, is designed specifically for internal company use. You decide who gets access and all that. I don’t actually know if you have competitors directly.”
“Why should they look at something like video e-learning instead of traditional learning, because it is much easier when you want to explain something right? If you have to put it into words and write it or get ChatGPT to write it, it just takes a lot longer. Communication is more than just words. So, if you can put your stuff in the video, you can make it more lively and more engaging. And especially if you make the video short, I think it’s a more fun way, and you can show, especially if you need to show a screen, how to do something. It’s just easier to show a video, and people can pause it and see what’s going on. So, if you have to repeat something more than twice, you should make a video.”
