Cyberjuice added ISO 27001 awareness training - Fast
Cyberjuice helps startups and small companies get ready for ISO 27001 certification.
Here’s how it used uQualio to add cybersecurity awareness training to its offering quickly, without building a video module itself.
“So, if you have to repeat something more than twice, you should make a video.”

How uQualio works for Cyberjuice
The Challenge
Cyberjuice is a Copenhagen-based platform that automates most of the cybersecurity work startups and small companies need for ISO 27001 certification, so they can get audit-ready.
Awareness training is part of ISO 27001, and customers needed it. “We needed to quickly implement cybersecurity awareness training as part of our offering,” says Bodil. But “we didn’t want to develop a full video module inside our own platform.”
Cyberjuice needed a solution that:
- Could launch quickly
- Didn’t require building its own video module
- Included quizzes to check understanding
- Could connect to Cyberjuice’s platform later
The Solution
Cyberjuice chose uQualio to build its awareness course.
“uQualio was a great choice to create a video course with quizzes and everything.”
The course is now part of the Cyberjuice package, so customers get the awareness training ISO 27001 requires alongside the rest of the platform. Learners can earn certificates at different levels as they progress.
“So we use it for offering cybersecurity awareness training for our customers.”
The Result
uQualio let Cyberjuice offer training fast, and customers noticed:
- Awareness training launched without building a video platform
- A lot of development time saved
- Customers supported toward ISO 27001 audit-readiness
- Feedback comparing it favorably with big-company training
Some customers told Bodil that “our training course was better than what they had seen in many big corporations.”
Next, Cyberjuice is looking at connecting uQualio to its platform through the API, and at making its own employee onboarding more interactive.
The full conversation with Bodil Biering, CEO & Founder of CyberJuice
Q: What was your problem before you looked at the quality of the software?
“We needed to quickly implement cybersecurity awareness training as part of our offering (Cyberjuice helps companies become compliant with the ISO 27001 standard), and we didn’t want to develop a full video module inside our own platform. So, uQualio was a great choice to create a video course with quizzes and everything and offer that to our customers.”
Q: How did you discover uQualio?
“I discovered it because I met the founders, and they told me about how easy it would be to create courses and, especially, to get the quizzes and the records so you can see who has passed the course.”
Q: What has your experience been with uQualio?
“It’s been really easy to upload everything, and to set up the whole course, adding small videos and quizzes. One thing I really liked was that you can share a public link to a course, so people don’t necessarily have to log in to see the course. Only if they want a certificate with their name, do they have to provide it. But it was very nice that you don’t have to create an additional login. I also know that there’s an API option so that we can actually integrate it when you’re logged into the Cyberjuice platform, allowing you to automatically retrieve records. We’re looking into that as a next step.”
Q: What was your main concern about training platforms, and why didn’t you buy one before?
“Well, we wanted to have our awareness module connected to our own solution. To be honest, we didn’t research what other options there is. But when I heard how easy it was to actually just get started in this way and do an MVP version of a course to see how it works, and it was also quite an affordable solution, we just said: let’s try it.”
Q: Super. So today you use the uQualio platform. Can you tell me how you use it specifically?
“So we use it for offering cybersecurity awareness training for our customers. In conjunction with using our own platform to handle the whole security and compliance program, there’s always the requirement that you have to train all employees. So, we offer this as a training module as part of our package to our customers, and that’s how we use it now. But I’m also thinking about using it for our own internal operations for onboarding and, just quick how-to guides. So that’s another use case that I think we’ll be using it for.”
Q: What results have you gotten so far from using uQualio?
“Well, we’ve been able to offer everything you need to get audit-ready for an ISO certification without actually having to develop our own video training platform. So, does that answer the question of what results we got?”
Q: What are three benefits have you experienced? For example, is it saving you time or is it saving time for customers?
“Definitely saving time and just one less thing to worry about, which is very important when you’re a founder.”
Q: What exactly do you like the most about uQualio?
“The customer support.”
Q: What has surprised you the most or made you the happiest about uQualio?
“I really like that you can get your brand colors in, so it looks like your own page, and it even has the URL with Cyber Juice in it. I also really like the different levels where you can get trophies like platinum and gold. I actually like that a lot.”
Q: And in what ways have you seen training improvements with your customers?
“So, we have not really measured that part, but I did get feedback that our training course was better than what they had seen in many big corporations, where you get some weird cartoon figure thing.”
Q: Did you receive any other kind of feedback about training through video learning?
“Did you receive any other kind of feedback about training through video learning?”
Q: But what about the future of training at your company? How do you envision that uQualio can enable your scaling and growth?
“Well, I think we will create an API integration, as we’re going to be able to integrate it directly into the platform. Right now, it’s like an offering that as a bonus is given to our customers. You can use this module for your training requirements instead of creating your own. But when we get the API integration set up, we can retrieve records and make that part of the compliance documentation. So, we can save our customers a ton of time and we can add other training courses as well to look after all their needs. Or even get third parties to create content for us, add it in uQualio, and offer that inside our own platform. So, I see that integration opportunity as a big place for growing our awareness programs inside the platform.
We have our own unique concept with something called habit surveys, which we’re going to keep as our own. And there’s going to be a lot of AI around that. But the education part where you just want to tell people a story and you want to do it on video and check that they were paying attention, like basic knowledge education, that part I see we can use uQualio to scale.
For internal operations, we can also make onboarding a little bit more interactive. Instead of just having a checklist, we can make some videos for the stuff that we explain every time. So just say to the customers: go and watch it here and check your own learning.”
Q: If you were to recommend uQualio to your best friend, what would you say?
“I would say it’s like Udemy, but for private use within your own company. ”
Q: And if you were to recommend uQualio? What would you say so theyt jump out and try uQualio and not just make you Udemy instead of something else?
“Well, because Udemy is more of a general platform where you sell courses to everyone all over the world. uQualio, on the other hand, is designed specifically for internal company use. You decide who gets access and all that. I don’t actually know if you have competitors directly.”
Q: There are some, but of different kinds but not based on video the same as we do. So, what advice would you give to others who are looking to switch to a video e-learning platform for their training needs or something else?
“Why should they look at something like video e-learning instead of traditional learning, because it is much easier when you want to explain something right? If you have to put it into words and write it or get ChatGPT to write it, it just takes a lot longer. Communication is more than just words. So, if you can put your stuff in the video, you can make it more lively and more engaging. And especially if you make the video short, I think it’s a more fun way, and you can show, especially if you need to show a screen, how to do something. It’s just easier to show a video, and people can pause it and see what’s going on. So, if you have to repeat something more than twice, you should make a video.”
