Background 

Henrik Kragelund Jansson founded Kragelund Consulting to help leaders, teams, and organizations create meaningful transformation and lasting change. The work centers on leadership development that connects insight with action — because real change happens when reflection is turned into new behavior. And that takes time, focus and repetition, which the uQualio platform helps facilitate. 

Kragelund Consulting designs and facilitates development programs, leadership workshops, team sessions and 1:1 coaching that strengthen clarity, collaboration, and performance. The focus is always to enable people to understand themselves and others better, make conscious choices, and create impact they can feel in their daily work. They help leaders lead with intention, teams work better together, and organizations build the capabilities they need to succeed. 

The Challenge 

Kragelund Consulting was expanding its offerings to include a three-day leadership hike for leaders. This type of journey would be both physical and existential.  

The business needed to find a solution that: 

  • Would help the participants to prepare  
  • Could provide assignments for them 
  • Allowed the participants to make their own introductory videos, for them to know something about each other before meeting in person  
  • Was uncomplicated enough for this level of individual use 
  • Helped participants to better retain the knowledge from the hike 

The Solution 

While uQualio is a highly effective video learning platform, it is intended to allow more accessibility to learning in all its forms. Word documents with practical information and written assignments were easily attached on the platform courses alongside the videos. 

Knowing that the platform was flexible enough to incorporate different types of materials and having effective help options while learning how to use it really helps a one-person operation. 

The Result 

The leadership hike was a great success. The individual leaders were surveyed and several positives were noted:   

  • Attendees were much better prepared for when they met the first time in-person. 
  • Training videos for the theoretical foundation enabled the participants to engage more freely and personally during the non-platform in-person consulting. 
  • Some participants expressed an interest in joining a unique event like this again. 
  • Specifically attendees praised the short length of the videos (microlearning). 
  • Their survey revealed a high-quality experience of 4.75 out of 5. 

Seeing the clients’ perspective of using the uQualio video platform for this specific consulting engagement has encouraged Kragelund Consulting to add it to all their service offerings. The success of using the uQualio platform extends the value of their service, which benefits both the business and the clients.  

What Makes uQualio Work for Kragelund Consulting 

The selected platform had to work for both a small consulting firm to manage and for often unique first-time clients to learn and prepare from. Both preparation videos and attached written assignments needed to be made available easily, and users had to make their own videos.

Q: Tell us a bit about your company and what your company does?

“I’m Henrik Kragelund Jansson, founder of Kragelund Consulting, where I help leaders, teams, and organizations create meaningful movement and lasting change. My work centers on leadership development that connects insight with action — because real change happens when reflection is turned into new behavior.

I design and facilitate development programs, leadership workshops, team sessions and 1:1 coaching that strengthen clarity, collaboration, and performance. Whether I work with an executive team, a group of managers, or an individual on their personal leadership journey, my focus is always the same: to enable people to understand themselves better, make conscious choices, and create impact they can feel in their daily work.

In short: I help leaders lead with intention, teams work better together, and organizations build the capabilities they need to succeed.”

Q: Yes, and now you’ve been doing something new.

“Yes, I’ve been doing something new. Two weeks ago, I took a group of five leaders on a three-day leadership hike – an existential journey, you could say. As part of the preparation, I used uQualio as a dedicated learning universe. I uploaded my own instructional videos, explained how they should prepare, and added the assignments as Word documents directly on the platform.

I also included five or six short videos introducing the theoretical foundation – existentialism, personal reflection, and how to change habits. So uQualio became the shared preparation space the participants had to use before the hike. They also recorded a short video presentation of themselves for the group, as none of them knew each other beforehand.”

Q: And so, what made you think of using uQualio for this purpose?

“I think when it comes to development — whether personal or leadership development — organizations often say, ‘We only have the budget to bring you in for a day or two.’ And that limits the depth of the work we can do together.

Using uQualio gave me the opportunity to extend the development journey beyond the physical days. It allowed participants to begin the process on their own: to reflect, to feel into what they wanted to develop, and to arrive with a clearer sense of direction. So instead of it being ‘just three days,’ uQualio helped turn it into a real development process.”

Q: And so what was the result you got? What have you experienced?

“I asked them afterwards in a survey — an AI-generated questionnaire in Forms — and I’m happy to share it with you. It’s in Danish.”

Q: Yes, a questionnaire. We’d love to see it. We’ll translate it.

“But overall, they all rate uQualio very highly — it received an average score of 4.75 out of five.”

Q: Wow.

“As a preparation universe, three of them gave it a five and one gave it a four. Their main point is that it made them much more aware of what they were stepping into when we met in person.

It helped them arrive more open and more prepared to engage in conversations which are highly personal and often emotional. So while they were extremely happy with the three days we spent together, uQualio played a very valuable role in setting the stage.

And interestingly, two of the four respondents wrote that they would like to do another three-day hike. And all of them said at some point during the walk, ‘I never take time to reflect on what I actually want — in life or in my leadership.’

So, in that sense, it was a high-quality experience for them.”

Q: And what about you as an admin? What exactly do you like the most about uQualio?

“I think the video functionality is extremely effective. I’ll admit that the first time, it felt a bit nerve wracking to stand in front of the camera myself — but I ended up liking it.

I really appreciate that you can easily record your own videos but also combine them with material from YouTube or other sources. You can create sections, add questions, and build learning elements around them. I didn’t use all of these features this time, but I can clearly see the potential as I get to know the platform even better.”

Q: And what has surprised you the most about uQualio?

“It’s hard to give any other answer than the impact of the videos — especially being able to break them into bite-sized pieces.

Participants told me they liked the fact that the videos were only two minutes long. It makes it easy to replay them and stay focused. You don’t have to sit through 45 minutes, or even 10 or 5. The learning journey becomes more intentional and much easier to take in.

So that’s probably what surprised me the most — seeing it from the client’s perspective.”

Q: And what about the future of training at your company? Do you think that you’ll bring uQualio next time too?

“I will — I know I will. I’m currently working on a new concept called the Ledelseshøjskolen, and I’ll use the same approach there. I’ll create the online preparation in uQualio, and then when we meet physically, there will be no phones, no computers, no slides — nothing. Just people in a room, talking, reflecting, asking questions, and practicing leadership scenarios.

And afterwards, uQualio will be the place where they test their knowledge and continue the learning journey.

Right now, we have four different products, and I expect we’ll use uQualio for all of them.”

Q: Excellent. And if you were to recommend uQualio to your best friend or one of your colleagues, what would you say to them?

“Hmm, good question. I would say that it makes learning easier and far more accessible. And it gives you the possibility of working with development on a continuous basis.

As a consultant, I’m often only with a client for one day — maybe a half day more — because budgets for personal or leadership development are limited. uQualio creates a fantastic opportunity to extend the learning. You can ask people to watch a video repeatedly, you can ask them to take a test, and you can build repetition into the process.

For me, there are so many possibilities — including some I probably haven’t even discovered yet.”

Q: And now that you’ve experienced working with it, what advice would you give to others looking to switch to a video learning platform? Is there something they should be aware of or something that has been a learning for you?

“For me, the technical part around how contributors upload materials was a bit difficult to understand at first. So my main advice would be: remember to reach out to the uQualio team for help. Because the platform can do so much, it takes a bit of time to learn where everything is and how to use the different features. So, I would say: be aware of that — and don’t be shy about the videos. It’s really just a matter of practice.

I’m not very video-savvy; there are lots of Instagram people who record themselves all the time. I’m not one of them. But I just jumped in, and it worked fine.”

Q: I just thought that maybe, when you sign up as a customer, we should actually add the user tutorials… Anything else you’d like to say or think we’ve missed out on?

“I really like that it’s both. We’ve talked a lot about the videos — which I think are brilliant — but I also appreciate the option of adding written documents that people can download.

People learn in different ways. I made a list of things they needed to remember; I told them, but I also uploaded it. And the combination of formats is very valuable for that reason.

The other thing is simply to thank you for all your help.”

Q: Of course, of course.

“It’s the process that’s been fantastic.”

Q: But it’s one of the things… once you know how to do it yourself, it’s easy.

“Yeah, true. True.”
