May 2023 Product News: New Features
Request Access – New Flow for Sign-Up
- There is a new flow option for user sign up
- You can set that a user must be approved on their sign-up
- Users can request access and receive a message when they do it
- The admin has access to a new report ‘Access Requests’ where they can accept or reject the requests.
Email Domains Pass/Block – block all ‘except’
- You now have the option to block all email domains except one or more you specify
- This makes it simpler to control access and who can sign up for your learning platform
- Channels now have the option to create a landing page for the channel
- The landing page is a user-defined page, where once can drag and drop elements on the page in a very flexible way.
- You can set the landing page as the default for the channel.
- Users can switch between landing page view and channel page view
- The feature is available as part of the eCommerce pricing module.
Programs – new navigation and role ‘Program Manager’
- Updated navigation for programs and lists for easier access
- Introduced a new role: Program Manager
- The Program Manager can only access data related to programs and has no access to setup and configuration.
Schedule Invitations – Invite data as an anchor date
- Schedule Invitations has been in the system for a long time with the course start date as the anchor date
- It is now possible to use the invite date as the anchor date. This way users receive access to topics on an individual basis with their own schedule.
- The feature is available as part of the eCommerce pricing module.
May 2023 Product News: Other Changes and Features
Additionally, we have made several changes and introduced features:
Delete resources
- You can delete unused resources
- The usage count must be 0 before you can delete a resource
Saved Searches – List only for a current report
- The listed Saved Searches are now limited to show only searches for the current report ‘
Channels have an icon to show ‘public’ or ‘private’
- In channel lists, you have icons to show if the channel is public or private
