About Hatla

Who is Hatla Færch Johnsen?

Hatla spent two decades working across IT, pharma, business consulting, and engineering. She kept running into the same problem: getting the right knowledge to the right people, fast. An MSc in both Business and Psychology from Roskilde University gave her a clear-eyed view of how people actually learn, and why most corporate training doesn’t stick.

In 2017, she and Co-Founder Christian Bjerre Nielsen built uQualio to fix that. The idea was simple: people go to YouTube to learn. So, what if you could take that format, add quizzes and certificates, and hand it to any business that needs to train dealers, partners, or customers? No studio needed. No LMS expertise required. First course live on day one.

Today uQualio serves businesses across dozens of industries who need to train people they can’t put in a room: dealer networks, reseller channels, customer onboarding teams, and field service organisations. The platform is cloud-based, white-label, and built for the Subject Matter Expert who knows the product cold but has never built a training course before.

Hatla’s background in change management and business psychology shapes how uQualio is built: lean, practical, and focused on time-to-value. She’s also a committed voice for the UN’s SDG 4 as quality education is one of the most powerful levers we have for a better world.

Hatla is also a Danish IT Association national policy board for female tech leaders, shaping industry representation at government level.

“AI should stand for Average Intelligence. It should amplify humans – not replace them!
