DORA is a transport management system (TMS) that helps freight transport carriers save time and provide great customer service. It is an intelligent scheduling system for freight forwarding and trucking businesses. DORA supports small and medium-sized companies in achieving economies of scale.

Currently, DORA is using the uQualio video eLearning platform, mainly for customer onboarding, product owner training, and customer support – and to some extent for employee training.

In an interview with uQualio cofounder and CEO Hatla Johnsen, Rikke Høyer, cofounder & CCO of DORA explained how uQualio is not just helping DORA smooth out customer onboarding, training and support, but it is also enabling the company to scale as intended.

By integrating uQualio Video4Learning into its system, DORA has been saving considerable time and resources. Here’s how:

  • Reduced Travel Time: Previously, DORA had to physically visit each customer for onboarding that involved considerable travel time and costs. With uQualio, they’ve eliminated this need, allowing DORA to save them the time and resources associated with traveling to individual customer locations, which required them to cover a distance of around 100 km in one direction.
  • Efficient Virtual Onboarding: Instead of lengthy in-person sessions of approximately 3 hours per customer, DORA now conducts onboarding virtually through customer onboarding videos created on uQualio. Being around 45 minutes long, these videos have substantially shortened the onboarding process while ensuring consistent training for all customers, regardless of their location.
  • Streamlined Training Process: By leveraging uQualio’s features, such as microlearning, step-by-step training, and the option to add questions to modules, DORA has streamlined their product owner training process. This ensures that training is efficient and effective, leading to quicker adoption of their platform by customers.
  • Improved Customer Support: Integrating uQualio into their website’s ‘Help & Support’ section allows DORA to provide timely support to their customers through self-help virtual video guides, enabling customers to resolve common issues on their own, reducing the burden on DORA’s support team.
  • Enhanced Cash Flow: Quick customer onboarding facilitated by uQualio has led to better cash flow for DORA. They can now invoice customers quickly during sales meetings if the customer wants to start immediately, enabling them to improve order-to-cash flow.
  • Employee Training: uQualio isn’t just beneficial for customer onboarding as DORA is also using it for onboarding new employees and continuous training of existing ones. This ensures that their workforce always remains equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver quality service.
  • Future Projects: As part of their scale-up plans, DORA has two future projects lined up with uQualio Video4Learning platform. The first is driver instruction training, so the drivers learn how to use the system correctly, eventually reducing the hassle of getting correct information. The other project was about creating a knowledge hub about environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting. This indicates their confidence in uQualio’s effectiveness and its potential to address various training needs.

To Conclude

Overall, the uQualio video training platform has played a pivotal role in empowering DORA to scale its operations efficiently. The white-label learning platform’s ease-of-use, versatility, customization options, and positive feedback from customers highlight its value in optimizing training processes and delivering tangible benefits to businesses.
